“The best app for the worst weather.” The Weather Channel released an iOS app for hardcore storm chasers. The app gives users the ability to visualize weather heading their way. Featuring 8 hours of past-to-future radar with advanced storm cell tracking and over 20 map layers. As a result, storm chasers get accurate forecasting from the best in the biz.

To capture all that intense action into a short hype video, Flipeleven pitched a video concept to match – complete with script and storyboards, planned, shot and edited. Shot as live-action, The Weather Channel app commercial used special effects to recreate a tornado inside of an apartment in the hyper-realistic visual. The final 30-second spot played digitally, but can easily be exported as a TV spot.
